My friend Krista came over and took a bunch of awesome pictures for us. She is amazingly talented and we had a great time. Ella especially liked the camera. Her calling in life is to be a model.

It's easiest for others (though inaccurate and unpleasant for us) if we define ourselves with a few labels rather than the qualities of our relationships, but...whatevs. We are lovers of Christ, each other, two dogs, a beautiful and happy daughter, our Community, the Earth, Music, Photography, Tarheel Ball, and clever television.
